The Horton Farmers' Market may be a heritage farmers' market, but we are not shying away from new ideas this season! We love how passionate folks are about the market and their desire to visit us as part of their week. We understand that Saturdays may only work for some, and while those aren't going anywhere, this year, the time has come for an expansion! If you need more market in your week, work weekends, or just like a solid sleep-in on Saturday mornings, we're pleased to introduce Midweek Market evenings this summer! Launching on June 5, folks will be able to make the most out of hump days with a trip to Horton Wednesday evenings until August 28 from 4:30-7:30.
This Midweek Market isn't just a copy-paste of Saturday mornings either. Visitors can anticipate delectable dinner options from Bonjour and Yum! & The Galley 519 that are different from the market morning options. These two local pop-ups offer truly tasty options you will want to devour. Enjoy the meal with a local beverage on our licensed patio and take advantage of a relaxing summer night - they go too quickly, so savour it! Of course, there will be vendors for your midweek shop to hold you over until the weekend, including some Saturday familiars and new faces. We will release vendor lists in our weekly newsletter and on social media to allow visitors to make a list ahead of time. Much like Saturday, these markets will be rain or shine, and the success of this pilot project will directly influence the decisions of both the market and market vendors as we plan for next season - so please, if this is something you've been waiting for, join us on Wednesday evenings! For the launch on June 5, you can also look forward to live music with Ben Heffernan, games to enjoy with friends or family, fresh produce, artisan goods, a licensed patio with Caps Off, and Quai du Vin. Stay tuned to our socials for menu release from The Galley 519 and Bonjour & Yum when available! Get hungry, get Horton - Wednesday evenings all summer long!

What a great idea. So many of us have other commitments on Saturday Mornings. Now a mid-week shopping trip to the market will allow busy shop owners a welcome opportunity to shop at Horton Market.
