The tradition of Fall Fairs is one we love from the bottom of our hearts. An opportunity to gather with friends and neighbours to celebrate the culmination of a season of hard work, fresh flavours, and a little fun too.
We also happen to enjoy a little spooky season sprinkled in...so let us introduce you to PumpkinFest at the Horton Farmers' Market!

What's a Fall Fair without a friendly competition or two? Try for a ribbon, bragging rights, and the satisfaction of a job well done in the following categories!
Arts & Crafts
Photography
Baking
Pumpkin Painting and/or Carving
Costume (vendor and visitor categories)
There are a variety of section options within each category, and competition is divided by age, so there is room for everyone to compete!
All entries to be submitted to the Horton Farmers’ Market as follows:
- Arts & Crafts and Photography byTuesday, October 21, between noon and 5pm. - Baking byFriday, October 24, between noon and 5pm. - Pumpkin Carving/Painting by Friday, October 24, between noon and 5pm or Saturday, October 25, at 8:30am.
Late entries in all sections will not be accepted.
All entries must be the original work of a single entrant and not a collaborative effort.
For Junior entries, PLEASE DO NOT put the child’s address or phone number on the entry tags, but be sure to include them on the entry form.
Please attach entry tags on Arts & Crafts and Photography entries on the front, in the lower right corner.
Judging will commenceSaturday, October 25, at 9am.
All entries must remain at Horton until Saturday, October 25,at 11:30am.
All entries MUST be picked up by Saturday, October 25, at noon, or your entry will be disposed of, and any ribbon and prize will be forfeited.

Come to shop with your favourite farmers and purveyors of handmade magic and haunt a few pop-ups, joining in to add some festive flair!
PumpkinFest remains a producer-based market, meaning that the overwhelming majority of what vendors sell must be items that are made or grown by them. We also continue to keep it local.
