A Taste of the Market and a Local Night on the Town

It's on brand for us to love celebrating local food and the people who make it, so we're extra excited that Bridges is just around the corner! This annual evening shines a spotlight on the incredible small businesses of St. Thomas and Elgin County, and this year it's bringing together music, community, and of course, a whole lot of flavour.

This year's Bridges lands on September 24th at St. Anne's Centre, presented by the Elgin/ St. Thomas Small Business Enterprise Centre in partnership with Element5. Guests can expect the presentation of this year's Small Business Awards, a Taste Food Showcase included with your ticket, the elegant sound of the Vintera String Quartet during the showcase, and Dueling Pianos closing out the night. And the best part for us? Some of your favourite Horton Farmers' Market vendors will be there serving up the tastes you know and love.

Who's Bringing the Flavour
​There are more than 20 local Elgin County and St. Thomas-based food businesses participating, but this is a Horton stan page, so here's the lineup of our market friends you'll see at the event:

• Lotus Thai – fragrant, flavourful dishes that transport you instantly.
• Opa's Pretzels – soft, salty, and impossible to resist.
• Our Fields – because what's a party with out some veggies.
• Samaroo Sweets – a little sweetness goes a long way.
